LNGonRail – Now on Wheels

Chart and VTG are proud to announce that the cryogenic tank section of the world’s first LNG rail car prototype was successfully manufactured and tested at Chart’s Ferox facility in Decin, Czech Republic, and is currently en-route to VTG for final assembly. Chart bade farewell to the vessel on Friday 10th October and by the time you’re reading this it will already have arrived at VTG’s in Elze, German facility where, over the next few weeks, finally mounted on the chassis and after the completion, the wagon will be carried out prior to final testing.
